In order to provide better customer service to job applicants, several updates to the City of Seattle Online Employment System will be rolled out over the next several months to assist in the application process.

Here are some highlights:

• Text re-sizing. This will allow applicants to increase the font-size of the page content to allow for greater readability.
• Widening the page layout. Pages will be widen to minimize scrolling, make it easier to input data and also allow for easier review of an application.
• Preview of the completed application and resume before submitting. This enhancement will allow applicants to preview a submission and its formatting. Then if needed, applicants will be able to go back and make any necessary edits.
