The wading pool is located on the north end of Green Lake at the intersection of Wallingford Ave N and East Green Lake Drive North. Green Lake is one of the more popular wading pools in the Seattle area. Its the largest of the "Big Three" wading pools. With sunshine all day and into the evening, you can have hours of warm summer fun.

Wading Pool Hours

June 20 - September 7, 2009
Daily 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.

342 acres, 2.8 mile path, pitch and putt, swimming beaches, community center, indoor pool, sports fields, basketball courts, Bathhouse theater, boat rentals, rowing and sailing center

  • WADING POOL RULES
    • Children under 10 years old must be supervised by a responsible adult.
    • No "Bare Buns" - bathing suit attire required, babies must wear tight plastic pants or diapers designed for swimming.
    • No food or drink; no glass containers.
    • No spots - people with communicable diseases are not allowed in the pool.
    • No fidos (dogs, cats, etc.)
    • No bikes
    • No running
    • No water fights
    • No drugs or alcohol
