About Project LIFT

Project Leadership Involvement for Teens (LIFT) is a Seattle Parks and Recreation teen program that exposes multi-cultural teens to leadership development and civic engagement including:

• Civil service
• Race and social justices
• Career development
• Civic knowledge
• Critical thinking
• Creative civic engagement

Project LIFT invites Teens to become experts on their community. To have voice and choice in the meaningful decision making that drives their community. Project LIFT empowers teens to challenge their concepts of citizenship and redefine the notion of leadership. Project LIFT is a teen portal to engaging in the leadership process.
