Ceremonies and Special Events

Celebrate your ceremony at Camp Long!
Located in West Seattle, just south of the West Seattle Golf Course, Camp William G. Long has a charming 60-year-old stone and wood lodge surrounded by lovely forest. It is an ideal setting for ceremonies, parties and other special events. There are also captivating outdoor sites that provide a natural background for your special event.

Main Lodge

A fantastic place to host a party, meeting, workshop, or special event. The lodge features a brick fireplace and tall ceiling and has a maximum capacity of 72 people. Rental cost includes 12 six-foot-long banquet tables and 72 chairs.

Fees

$45 per hour + $15 processing fee for private events.
Add $17 per hour for rentals held after normal closing time.
Permission to serve alcohol must be requested from the Director of Operations. A fee of $60, liability insurance and a Banquet Permit from the Liquor Board are required to serve alcohol.
Refundable damage deposit of $250 (or $500 with alcohol) required.
Payment of fees and deposit required at time of reservation to hold the reservation.

Camp Long features 10 rustic outdoor cabins that each has six double beds. We also offer two separate covered shelter areas with picnic tables that are perfect for group events.

Cabin Fees

$40 per night per cabin.
$50 refundable damage deposit required.
No refunds on cabin rentals.

Shelter Fees

East shelter with seven tables—$100 per day.
West shelter with five tables—$80 per day.

Rules

Alcohol is prohibited by law at Camp Long except inside the Main Lodge with purchase of a liquor license.
No tenting, RVs or camper trailers are allowed to be used in the park or parking lot overnight.
Groups must clean up all areas used.
No pets.
No electric heaters.
Payment of fees and deposit required at time of reservation to hold the reservation.
Check with staff on specific rules for cabin and shelter use.

Fire Rings

A fire circle at the south end of the parade grounds can be rented for your group to have a campfire. Firewood, when available, can be purchased on-site from the Camp Long Advisory Council for $6 for a wheelbarrow full (but not heaping). You must bring your own kindling and marshmallow sticks.
