Pro Parks LevyThank you Seattle! Your support of the Pro Parks Levy and your participation in levy projects has benefited every neighborhood in Seattle. The Pro Parks Levy, an eight-year $198.2 million levy, has been an integral part of making Seattle Parks and Recreation a world-class park system. The future of Seattle Parks and Recreation is an exciting one. In this City, there is an energy and excitement about public parks that is unique and forward thinking. AcquisitionThe levy provides funds to create more than 30 new parks in Seattle neighborhoods
and to preserve wooded green spaces. DevelopmentThe Pro Parks Levy is drawing to a close, with over 110 park development projects completed. There are a few more development projects currently in progress such as Crown Hill, Dakota Place Park Phase II, Delridge Skatepark, and University Heights. and sustainability in our projects -- all the while completing our projects
on time and within budget. We've focused on fiscal, social and environmental
improvements on each job we undertake, improving our sustainable building
practices, engaging more than 15,000 individuals in our public processes,
