Project Information

Location: Phinney Ave N & N 59th Street

Project Status

January 2014
The play area construction began January 2014. During construction, the play area will be closed to the public. It will open when completed in April 2014. Construction was postponed to allow families to use the play area during Seattle Public School's winter break.

Based on the input from public meetings and available budget, this project will replace outdated play equipment with climbing dome structure and tree house themed play equipment. The existing swing set will also be replaced with one of comparable height. A loop trail will circulate around the play equipment with benches and picnic tables.

Thank you to all who attended the planning meetings for the playground renovation!
