Lake City Skatespot at Virgil Flaim Park
Project Information

Location: 2750 NE 125th St, 98125

Project Status

Summer 2016
We are currently working on the construction documents and hope to go to bid in the summer and anticipate construction occurring in late summer or fall. We will work with the contractor during this time to minimize impact to the park, although many of the pathways and the basketball court will be closed from late spring to mid-summer.

Seattle Parks and Recreation, Cascade Design Collaborative and Grindline Skateparks thank everyone who attended the first and second public meeting. Please see presentation and notes below.

Seattle Parks is working with our design team to respond to comments heard at the public meeting. We will be adding a second basketball hoop at the basketball court and are working on a way to delineate or separate the skatespot and the basketball court.

Thank you also to everyone who participated in our Twitter chat on July 21. We appreciate your input.

Spring 2015
Seattle Parks and Recreation selected Cascade Design Collaborative as the design consultant for this project. Together we will reach out to the community for design input. Please watch this page for input opportunities.
