Thank you! The recent expansion of this community learning garden is complete!

The learning garden expansion features more raised planter beds, an outdoor class room, storage shed and a rain garden.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Steering Committee of the Rainier Beach Learning Garden group applied for and were awarded a Small and Simple matching fund from the Department of Neighborhoods in 2009. The community will work with Seattle Parks and a Landscape Architect to design and implement a learning garden which enhances the  work previously done for the learning garden.
