Montlake Playfield Play Area
Parks and Green Spaces Levy
Project Information

Location: 1618 E Calhoun Street

Project Status

Thank you Seattle, this project is complete!
The play area has been open since late 2013 and is receiving rave reviews from kids and adults alike.

In addition to the Play Area Renovation, successful grants funding efforts by the community group Montlake Family Fitness led to installation of adult exercise equipment and construction of a sports court. The $150,000 additional funding for the exercise equipment and sports court was provided by a Neighborhood Matching Fund award and a King County Sports Facility Grant. Construction is complete and the court opened in July 2015.
