Project Status

Johnston Architects is working on the design details for the restrooms. Once complete the project will be implemented by the City of Seattle Job Order Contract contractor, Berschauer Phillips.

BUDGET	The Parks and Green Spaces Levy Inflation Adjustment fund allocates: $350,000
SCHEDULE	Design: October - November 2012 Construction: December 2012 - March 2013 Completion: March 2013

Project Description

This project provides multiple upgrades at the Matthews Beach Park bathhouse. The restrooms will be reconfigured to meet all current ADA codes. The changing rooms will get floor drains installed and improvements to seating. It is also anticipated that the roof will be renovated if budget allows.
