Project Information

Location: 899 W Olympic Place, Seattle WA 98119

Project Status

Winter 2012/Spring 2013
The project is one of 15 to receive funding from the Opportunity Fund. It is a continuation of a community-initiated Neighborhood Matching Fund (NMF) project. The community is working with Seattle Parks and HBB Landscape Architects to develop the design development plan including stronger trail connections, a sustained natural setting and increased usage of the park.

The design team has narrowed the scope of the work into phases. A portion of the work will be completed through Conservation Corps in 2012 and the remainder of the work will continue in 2013. The dog off leash area will be part of the park development to occur in fall 2012.

See below for an archive of meetings and documents from the NMF phase of this project.

We’d like to thank the community and FOLKpark for being great supporters of this park and for devoting so much of their time and energy to the improvement of it. The formal public input process is complete.
