In August, Seattle Parks hosted a meeting to give an update on the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for the moorages. After hearing your concerns, Mayor Mike McGinn agreed that we should stop the RFP process and change direction. He committed $4 million in his proposed 2014 budget for repairs to the South Leschi moorage--the most immediate need.
