Parks and Green Spaces Levy
Project Information

Location: 2101 N Northlake Way

Project Status

Summer 2016
To use resources more efficiently, Seattle Parks and Recreation will combine the play area renovation, comfort station renovation, and east entry ADA improvement project into one bid package.

In coordination with summer use this project will begin construction at the end of the summer 2016 and will be completed in summer 2017.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Open House on September 9, 2014 and provided input. The Sr. Landscape Architect has taken the community input and will work on creating a preferred design for the play area.

The 2008 Parks and Green Spaces Levy included money to make improvements to the existing play area at Gas Works Park. The remnants of the play area are located on the south side of the play barn (the large covered structure with the multi-colored equipment).
