Project Status

Thank you Seattle! The renovation is complete.
The renovated Fairmount Playground opened October 29, 2010. Enjoy your new park and play equipment.

The park features a rope climber and ferry boat play structure. Sr. Landscape Architect Pam Alspaugh from Seattle Parks worked with the equipment provider, PlayCreation, to design the custom ferry play piece.

BUDGET	Parks and Green Spaces Levy allocates $170,000 for planning, design and construction.

Project Description

The park was identified in the Parks and Green Spaces Levy for the renovation of the existing play area. The focus is safety improvements that will provide better site circulation and make the park and play area more desirable to gather and play.
