Project Status

January 2015
Thank you all for attending the third and final public meeting on January 6, 2015. The community has expressed its desire to continue forward with renovations to the park. The final playground plan will be displayed on the project sign board at Cedar Park.

We thank all attendees for your continued participation. Please see the notes from the meeting below.

The park plans will be coordinated with Seattle Public School's redevelopment plan to include a joint-use playground/park feature with Cedar Park Elementary.

BUDGET
The Parks and Green Spaces Levy provides $500,000 for planning, design and construction.
SCHEDULE
Planning: Winter 2014 - Winter 2015
Design: Spring 2015 - Fall 2015
Construction: Winter 2016 - Spring 2016
Completion: Summer 2016

Project Description

Cedar Park Renovation project provides for the retrofit of the existing play features, improvement to site circulation and access, and upgrades to meet current safety and American with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.

The park will function as a playground for Cedar Park Elementary school and will be a desirable space for the neighborhood youth and families to recreate year-round.
