Project Status

Thank you Seattle! This project is complete.
Parks removed construction fencing at the end of December 2010.

The construction contract for the project was awarded to RN Faulk. The project began in September 2010. This project provides site improvements to the play area at Beacon Hill Playground.

BUDGET	The Parks and Green Spaces Levy provides $180,000 for planning, design and construction.

Project Description

This project will provide access improvements and other site improvements at this existing play area. The scope of this project brings the play area into compliance with current play area safety standards and guideline efforts of the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) and the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) as well as meets the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
