ABOUT THE PARK
This tiny park has a big view. NW 60th Street Viewpoint comprises two benches, a boulder, and a low wood-post fence on a patch of lawn above Shilshole Bay. The park offers views of Magnolia Bluff, the Olympic Mountains, Bainbridge Island, and Puget Sound. The sound of passing trains on the tracks across the street completes the ambience.Acreage: 0.5
A boulder in the park bears the inscription "This outlook was developed with a generous gift from Nina Maust in honor of Norman Maust. A member of a pioneer family, Norm was an avid boater who loved the Northwest."
