ABOUT THE PARK

HISTORY

Wedgwood Square was dedicated in the original land plat of Wedgwood, 1941. Wedgwood was named by “Mrs. Balch”, indicating her interest in ceramics. Josiah Wedgwood (1730-1795) of England created fine neoclassical cameo-like figures applied to his pottery before firing.
