ABOUT THE PARK

Tashkent Park is a charming shady neighborhood park with picnic tables, a wooden arbor, benches, and a sculpture from Seattles Sister City, Tashkent. In 2016, through a Community Development Block Grant, the park received accessibility improvements and a new concrete plaza with tables and chairs.

Tashkent Park was named for Tashkent, Uzbekistan, one of Seattle's International Sister Cities. > more about Tashkent
