ABOUT THE PARK

This park contains two baseball fields with backstops, scoreboard, a playground with climbing features and monkey bars, baby swings, slide, and bathroom facilities, as well as a large lawn area.

The Ross Playfield Shelter House is also available for rental! With its large roll-up doors it is the ideal location for birthday parties, summer picnics, community meetings, classes or other events.

HISTORY

The name was taken from the school, which had been named to honor John D. Ross, pioneer who homesteaded in 1853.
