Lakewood and Leschi Boat Moorage Restoration

Current Status

Planning has begun for the design of the Leschi North, Leschi South and Lakewood Boat Moorage facilities. Some of the improvements may include repairs to existing breakwater structures, replacement of floating moorages, and ADA accessibility.

Project Description

Budget: $2,000,000
Construction begins: Fourth Quarter 2008
Project complete: Project completion date TBD by end of Planning Phase

The project includes repairs to in-water structural systems, and repairs and replacement of above water decking. The repairs will extend the useful life of the moorages, will correct life safety concerns, and will improve operations of the moorages.

Design will occur in the third and fourth quarter of 2007 with permitting occuring during in the first through the third quarter of 2008.
