LGBTQ Seniors

Find out about Lifelong Recreation programs for those 50+ by visiting www.seattle.gov/parks/find/lifelong-recreation-(50) or calling (206) 684-4951.

The Lifelong Recreation 50+ unit has partnered with Generations Aging with Pride to develop "Aging with Pride" programs and activities specifically for LGBTQ adults 50+ and their friends. Fall 2017 activities include monthly movies, exercise classes, art classes, and field trips.

Seattle Parks and Recreation is hosting two public swims for people of all gender identities:

Dates: Saturdays, September 30 and November 18, 2017
Time: 3:00 pm to 5:00 p.m. (in the water time)
Location: Medgar Evers Pool, 500 23rd Ave, Seattle, WA 98122
Cost: Promotional cost of $2 (pay at the door). - Children under 1 year old are free with parent/guardian.

Common changing rooms will be signed as gender neutral during these events, and there are two family/private changing rooms available. Medgar Evers Pool has a rope swing, diving board, sauna, portable access chairs and two ADA lifts (in both the shallow end and the deep end). Questions?
