Summer Recreation Employment
Seattle Parks and Recreation, in partnership with the Associated Recreation
Council (ARC) and 37 citywide advisory councils, is now accepting applications
for various Summer programs. Temporary positions are available at approximately
24 community centers, eight indoor swimming pools, two outdoor pools,
two small craft centers, and many public beaches and wading pools.

program designed to provide youth with education, job skills and career
development training in the field of park resource management.

Youth Engaged in Service (YES)
The Youth Engaged in Service (YES) Program is a volunteering program
for Seattle based youth between the ages of 13 and 18. Participants
will volunteer throughout the summer and will receive either community
service hours for school credit or a stipend as recognition of their
