Seattle Parks and Recreation has two propagation facilities, Jefferson Greenhouse and Atlantic City Nursery, to produce plants that are utilized in Parks and other city landscapes.

Jefferson Greenhouse grows approximately 200,000 to 250,000 annuals and perennials, and orders over 30,000 bulb plants every year.

Atlantic Nursery propagates about 25,000 to 30,000 woody plants including natives and ornamentals annually. We provide these plants for the department and other city agencies.
