An Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is an informational document that provides the City, public, and other agencies with information about potential environmental impacts and mitigating measures from a proposal in order to inform the decision-making process. The City is planning to create a draft EIS that would be released with the draft plan and a final EIS that would be released with Mayor’s recommended plan. The City has completed the EIS scoping period and is now preparing a summary of comments received and updated alternatives that will be analyzed.
