Saturday Street Work on Rainier Ave S and also 15th Ave S

SEATTLE-SDOT crews plan to work at two locations in southeast Seattle tomorrow, Saturday, June 13, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

On Rainier Avenue South between South Cloverdale Street and South Henderson Street, southbound traffic will be shifted into the center left turn lane. Northbound traffic will not be affected.

On 15th Avenue South between South Hanford Street and South Hinds Street (just north of South Spokane Street), a Police Officer will assist traffic in both directions past the construction area.

SDOT paving crews will restore pavement that was excavated for work on underground utilities.

The Seattle Department of Transportation builds, maintains and operates Seattle's $12 billion transportation infrastructure. To further Mayor Nickels’ goal to get Seattle moving, the department manages short- and long-term investments in streets, bridges, pavement and trees, that better connect the city with the region.
