On-ramp Closure to I-5 from Eastbound
West Seattle Bridge / Spokane Street Viaduct

SEATTLE-WSDOT crews will close the ramp from the eastbound West Seattle Freeway (Spokane Street Viaduct) to north and southbound I-5, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., from the evening of May 31 to the morning of June 5 for construction work.

The West Seattle Freeway (Spokane Street Viaduct) will be closed to eastbound traffic at Fourth Avenue South. A signed detour will be posted.

The day-to-day schedule for the ramp closures is:

10 p.m. Sunday, May 31 to 5 a.m. Monday June 1
10 p.m. Monday June 1 to 5 a.m. Tuesday June 2
10 p.m. Wednesday, June 3 to 5 a.m. Thursday, June 4
10 p.m. Thursday June 4 to 5 a.m. Friday, June 5

WDOT crews will remove and replace the illumination system and signing at the I-5/Spokane Street interchange which will improve safety and visibility for drivers.
