I-5 Ramp Closure and Lane Closures on
Stewart Street in Downtown Seattle
April 24 to 27

SEATTLE -The Seattle Department of Transportation's (SDOT's) contractor will close the Stewart Street off-ramp from southbound I-5 (mainline) starting 9 p.m. Friday, April 24 until 4 a.m. Monday, April 27. Drivers are advised to use the Union Street off-ramp from I-5. The I-5 on-ramp from Yale Avenue will remain open.

Stewart Street will be reduced to two lanes between Eastlake Avenue East and Minor Avenue until 9 p.m. on Friday, April 24, and then to one lane from 9 p.m. Friday until early Monday morning.

Several streets are now, or will be closed the weekend of April 24th through April 27th. John Street is currently closed and will continue to be closed at the intersection with Stewart Street/Eastlake Avenue East. Denny Way will be closed to east/west traffic at Stewart Street from 6 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Monday. Travel will be maintained from westbound Stewart to eastbound Denny. Detour routes will be posted and uniformed police officers will be on duty to keep traffic moving.

The closures will allow SDOT's contractor to remove and replace concrete panels on the north side of Stewart Street between Eastlake Avenue East and Denny Way.
