Take a break from the city…in the city.

Mayor Greg Nickels will join Seattle Parks and Recreation, The Mountaineers, the many tenants of Warren G. Magnuson Park, and the friends, family and sports organizations of the Mickey Merriam Althletic Field Complex at Magnuson Park for the Magnuson Park SpringFest on Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This event will formally dedicate The Mountaineers new facility and the freshly completed ballfields at the Mickey Merriam Athletic Field Complex at Magnuson Park.

Mayor Nickels will be at The Mountaineers’ new facility at 11:30 a.m. for a special dedication, and at the athletic field complex at 12:15 p.m. for a ceremony opening the fields.

This family friendly event will showcase many of the tenants at the park. Activities will include:
