Weekend Street Work on Holman Road

SEATTLE -Saturday, February 7, the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) will be working in the center through-lanes and center turn lanes in both directions of Holman Road between Greenwood Avenue N and Third Avenue NW. The sidewalk on the south side of the roadway will be closed in addition to the center lanes where the work is taking place. There will be no parking on either side of the street in order for traffic to travel in the curb lanes through the work zone. Turns will be permitted. Seattle Police officers will be on hand directing traffic. The lane closures will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday morning, and end Sunday morning at 9 a.m.; however, the lanes could be reopened as soon as late Saturday afternoon if conditions allow. During the closure, SDOT will be restoring the roadway at the site of previous underground utility work.

The Seattle Department of Transportation builds, maintains and operates Seattle's $12 billion transportation infrastructure. To further Mayor Nickels’ goal to get Seattle moving, the department manages short- and long-term investments in streets, bridges, pavement and trees, that better connect the city with the region.
