Queen Anne Neighborhood Saturday Road Repair

(SEATTLE)--Seattle Department of Transportation crews will repair pavement at two locations in the northbound lanes of Queen Anne Avenue North (1800 block and 2100 block) on Saturday, January 17, weather permitting. Traffic flaggers and a Police Officer will assist traffic. Sidewalks will remain open. The paving crews plan to start at 9 a.m. and hope to complete work by 6 p.m. Crews will also work on West Olympic Place in the parking lane. They plan to return to Queen Anne Avenue North the following Saturday to complete work in the southbound lanes. This work is needed to restore pavement that was previously excavated for work on underground utilities

The Seattle Department of Transportation builds, maintains and operates Seattle's $8 billion transportation infrastructure. To further Mayor Nickels’ goal to get Seattle moving, the department manages short- and long-term investments in streets, bridges, pavement and trees, that better connect the city with the region.
