Southbound I-5 exit to Boylston Ave and Roanoke St in Seattle set for weekend closure

(SEATTLE)--Southbound Interstate 5 drivers should plan for a weekend long closure of the exit to Boylston Avenue and Roanoke Street beginning Friday, Dec. 12 at 9 p.m. Crews are building a noise wall along the west side of the freeway and will close the exit to allow space for equipment needed to drill shafts for the wall foundation.

Crews will close the I-5 southbound exit ramp to Boylston Avenue E. and E. Roanoke Street at 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12 and reopen the ramp by 5 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 15.

During the closure drivers will need to plan ahead to get to the Eastlake neighborhood and should use the signed detour routes.
