Queen Anne Off-Ramp from Aurora to be Closed this Weekend

SEATTLE-SDOT paving crews will replace a concrete panel on Halladay Street on Queen Anne Hill this weekend. To complete this work, SDOT crews will close the off-ramp from northbound Aurora Avenue North at Halladay Street (the Queen Anne exit) and detour drivers to the exit across the ship canal at Bridge Way North (in Fremont). Drivers can then circle around and return south on Aurora. The closure will begin at around 7 a.m. and will remain in place until sometime on Sunday when the concrete has had sufficient time to cure. The Queen Anne on-ramp to Aurora will remain open.

The Seattle Department of Transportation builds, maintains and operates Seattle's $8 billion transportation infrastructure. To further Mayor Nickels’ goal to get Seattle moving, the department manages short-and long-term investments in streets, bridges, pavement and trees, that better connect the city with the region.
