Street Repairs in Downtown Seattle on Saturday

(SEATTLE) - SDOT paving crews will work on several downtown streets on Saturday, October 25, weather permitting:

Denny Way
SDOT crews will complete pavement repairs on Denny Way following work on underground water lines. Crews will restrict traffic on Denny Way to one lane in each direction just west of Dexter Avenue starting at 7 a.m. and will reopen the lanes no later than 3:30 p.m.

Sixth Avenue
SDOT crews will replace concrete pavement panels on Sixth Avenue at John Street. Starting at 8 a.m., northbound traffic on Sixth Avenue will be detoured at Denny Way to Fifth Avenue, returning to Sixth Avenue at John Street. The northbound lanes will reopen no later than noon on Sunday, allowing time for the concrete to cure.

First Avenue
Repairs will be made on First Avenue just north of Lenora Street. One lane will remain open in each direction from Saturday at 9 a.m. until no later than 3 p.m.

The Seattle Department of Transportation builds, maintains and operates Seattle's $8 billion transportation infrastructure. To further Mayor Nickels’ goal to get Seattle moving, the department manages short- and long-term investments in streets, bridges, pavement and trees, that better connect the city with the region.
