Cedar Street to be Paved this Weekend

SEATTLE - Seattle Department of Transportation paving crews plan to pave Cedar Street this weekend between Fourth Avenue and Denny Way as part of SDOT’s annual maintenance program. The street will be closed on Saturday and Sunday, October 4th and 5th from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Northbound traffic will be detoured to Denny Way and southbound traffic will be detoured to Wall Street. The street will remain open to pedestrians. For information on Metro Transit service as the date nears, visit www.kingcounty.gov/metro, or call Rider Information at (206) 553-3000.

The Seattle Department of Transportation builds, maintains and operates Seattle's $8 billion transportation infrastructure. To further Mayor Nickels’ goal to get Seattle moving, the department manages short- and long-term investments in streets, bridges, pavement and trees, that better connect the city with the region.
