Food and Football Dominate the Coming Weekend
Motorists should plan for possible traffic delays

SEATTLE - Over the coming weekend, September 12-14, sports fans can enjoy a Huskies game or a Seahawks game, while thousands more are expected at Wallingford’s Annual Wurst Festival or the Evergreen State BBQ Championship on Alki. The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) advises motorists to plan on heavy traffic around these and other weekend activities. Saturday afternoon Wurst Festival and Huskies game traffic, around the I-5 exits at NE 45th and NE 50th streets, could lead to significant delays on that corridor.
