The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) Installs Green Bike Lanes to Enhance Safety

PHOTO/VIDEO OPPORTUNITY: SDOT plans to install a green bike lane on Fremont Avenue North and North Florentia Street today to raise motorists’ awareness of bicyclists.

On Tuesday, May 6, SDOT installed Seattle’s first green bike lanes-one on Dexter Avenue North and Denny Way, and one on Greenlake Way North and North 51st Street. For more information, visit SDOT’s Web site, www.seattle.gov/transportation/greenbikelanes.htm.
