Seattle Police Seek Assistance in Hit and Run

SEATTLE – In the early morning hours of Saturday, April 12th, 2008, a 16-year-old female was struck while standing in the roadway by a dark colored sedan in the 1700 Block Westlake Avenue North. The vehicle struck the victim and fled the scene northbound on Westlake Ave. N. The victim suffered a fractured leg, in addition to serious head and internal injuries.

The suspect vehicle has been described as a dark colored sedan, possibly a Mercedes or BMW-type vehicle with a spoiler and tinted windows. The vehicle should have obvious front-end damage.

The Seattle Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying the suspect vehicle. Anyone with information pertaining to this vehicle or who may have witnessed this crime is urged to call the Seattle Police Department at (206) 684-8932.
