West Commodore Way near Discovery Park to be closed Saturday

SEATTLE- On Saturday April 12, SDOT paving crews will close West Commodore way, near Discovery Park in Magnolia, to repair concrete roadway pavement. The street will be closed in the 2900 block to all traffic, with a detour provided through Discovery Park. Crews will be working in a curve where sight distance is not sufficient enough to leave a lane open. The crews will open the street to traffic by 9 a.m. on Sunday April 13th, once the concrete has had time to cure.

The Seattle Department of Transportation builds, maintains and operates Seattle's $8 billion transportation infrastructure. To further Mayor Nickels’ goal to get Seattle moving, the department manages short- and long-term investments in streets, bridges, pavement and trees, that better connect the city with the region.
