Fremont Bridge nighttime closures March 31 to April 4

SEATTLE-SDOT plans to close the Fremont Bridge to vehicles, pedestrians and bicyclists, during the nights of Monday through Thursday, March 31 to April 3, reopening on the following mornings. During the closures work will continue on upgrading the mechanical and electrical systems of the bridge:

Monday, March 31 at 9 pm to Tuesday, April 1 at 6 am.
Tuesday, April 1 at 9 pm to Wednesday, April 2 at 6 am.
Wednesday, April 2 at 9 pm to Thursday, April 3 at 6 am.
Thursday, April 3 at 9 pm to Friday, April 4 at 6 am.

On Monday through Thursday nights, SDOT’s contractor will provide a shuttle service for pedestrians and bicyclists from 9 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. between the north and south ends of the bridge (from roughly North 34th Street and Fremont Avenue North to roughly Nickerson and Fourth Avenue North) making the loop approximately every 20 to 30 minutes. Signs will be placed noting the pick up and drop off locations.

Buses will be rerouted during all of these closures. As the date approaches, see Metro Online at http://transit.metrokc.gov or call Rider Information, (206) 553-3000.

Marine traffic will not be impacted by the nighttime closures.
