South Graham Street to be closed this weekend

SEATTLE- Starting at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow (Saturday, March 15) SDOT paving crews will restore the pavement on South Graham Street following work on underground utilities.

Graham will be closed to through traffic between Rainier Avenue South and Martin Luther King, Jr. Way South, and closed to local traffic between 42nd Avenue South and Rainier South, until 6 a.m. Sunday (March 16) to allow time for the pavement to cure. Traffic will be detoured to South Orcas Street or South Othello Street.

South Graham Street will remain open to pedestrians.

The Seattle Department of Transportation builds, maintains and operates Seattle's $8 billion transportation infrastructure. To further Mayor Nickels’ goal to get Seattle moving, the department manages short- and long-term investments in streets, bridges, pavement and trees, that better connect the city with the region.
