Fremont Bridge nighttime closures Nov 5 - 9

SEATTLE-SDOT’s contractor plans nighttime Fremont Bridge closures Monday, November 5 through the morning of Friday, November 9. On these nights the bridge will be closed to all traffic to continue work on the bridge’s mechanical and electrical systems.

Monday, November 5th at 9pm to Tuesday, November 6th at 6am
Tuesday, November 6th at 9pm to Wednesday, November 7th at 6am
Wednesday, November 7th at 9pm to Thursday, November 8th at 6am
Thursday, November 8th at 9pm to Friday, November 9th at 6am

SDOT’s contractor will provide a shuttle service for pedestrians and bicyclists from 9 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. between the north and south ends of the bridge (from roughly North 34th Street and Fremont Avenue North to roughly Nickerson and Fourth Avenue North) making the loop approximately every 20 to 30 minutes. Signs will be placed noting the pick up and drop off locations. Buses will be rerouted during these closures. As the date approaches, see Metro Online at http://transit.metrokc.gov or call Rider Information, 553-3000.

Marine traffic will not be impacted by these closures.
