SDOT will pave 28th Avenue West this weekend

SDOT crews will close 28th Avenue West from 7 a.m., Saturday, November 3 to 10 a.m., Sunday, November 4 to all through traffic, except King County Metro Transit buses, so that crews can work on the street and to allow time for the paving material to cure. The street will remain open to pedestrians. Southbound traffic will not be affected.

Northbound traffic on 28th Avenue West will be detoured to Condon Way West, then to West McGraw Street, 34th Avenue West, West Barrett Street, 30th Avenue West, West Dravus Street, and back to 28th Ave West.

The Seattle Department of Transportation builds, maintains and operates Seattle's $8 billion transportation infrastructure. To further Mayor Nickels' goal to get Seattle moving, the department manages short- and long-term investments in streets, bridges, pavement and trees, that better connect the city with the region.
