Seattle Police Clear Nineteen Warrants as Part of the Fifth Annual Family Violence Apprehension Detail
The Seattle Police Department is pleased to announce that over fifty officers participated in this apprehension detail on October 18th, 2007. As a result, 19 felony and misdemeanor domestic violence warrants were served and all 19 suspects were arrested and booked into the King County Jail.
The detail included multi-jurisdictional cooperation from departments in King, Snohomish, Pierce and Thurston Counties. This detail was part of a larger national effort to apprehend domestic violence warrant suspects. The Seattle Police Department has a longstanding and vigorous commitment to the investigation and prosecution of domestic violence crimes.
