Seattle Police Recruiting Billboard Unveiled
Today Seattle Police Assistant Chief James Pugel unveiled a new Seattle Police Department recruiting billboard that will be displayed facing north on 4th Avenue South at South Walker Street. The billboard features the familiar Seattle Police Department uniform patch along with the statement, ‘A Job Like No Other.’
The billboard is one of two that was donated to Seattle Police by Clear Channel Outdoor to support the Department’s recruiting efforts.
“This is an unprecedented event for our Department in our continuing efforts to hire highly qualified individuals for the profession of policing. The generosity of Clear Channel will enable us to reach thousands of commuters traveling to Seattle. Ultimately, we hope it will catch the eye of a future Seattle Police Officer,” said Assistant Chief Pugel.
Clear Channel Outdoor is a leading outdoor advertising company with operations in more than sixty countries. The company’s regional operations are headquartered in Seattle. Clear Channel Outdoor partners with many municipalities and public agencies to provide street furniture programs and transit advertising.
