Teen Flashlight Candy Hunt, Friday, April 14, 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. Alki and Hiawatha Community Centers will hold their annual joint Teen Hunt at Hiawatha Community Center. Hunt for candy, chips, CDs, gift certificates, and more! Bring your own Flashlight and Bag. Ages: 12 to 15. Cost: free.

Pancake Breakfast, Saturday, April 15, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Enjoy scrambled eggs, sausage, juice, coffee, and all-you-can-eat pancakes. Come have breakfast and then enjoy the family candy hunt with your kids at 10 a.m. Ages: all. Cost: $4 per person, ages 5 and younger, free.

Spring Egg Hunt, Saturday, April 15, 10 a.m. Boys and girls will have a great time at the spring hunt searching for chocolate eggs, candy and prizes. The hunt will begin at 10 a.m. Please come early to find the proper age group hunting area. Ages: 2 to 11. Cost: free.

Spring Egg Hunt, Saturday, April 15, 10 a.m. to noon in the field by the center.. Join us for the annual Ballard CC Spring Egg Hunt! There will be lots of goodies and specially marked eggs that you can redeem for prizes! You can even take a photo with the "Big Bunny" for $1. Be sure to bring a basket or bag to put all of your goodies in! If it rains we'll move inside. Parents, please supervise your toddlers and pre-school aged children. Ages: 9 and younger. Spring Egg Hunt, Saturday, April 15, 10 a.m. It's time again for our annual egg hunt at Bitter Lake Community Center! This fun youth event features separate hunting areas for different age groups. Meet at the Bitter Lake Annex (the gym at Broadview Thomson Elementary School). Please bring a basket to gather your candy and eggs. Ages: 2 to 10. Cost: A can of food for the local food bank!

Toddler Spring Fling, Wednesday, April 12, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Join us for our regular Toddler Open Gym, only super-sized! We will have the giant jump toy, games and prizes, crafts, popcorn, candy and more! Ages: toddlers. Cost: free.

Spring Egg Hunt, Saturday, April 15, 10 a.m. in the Delridge grass fields. Kids, come and search for spring eggs throughout the grass fields! Each egg will contain a surprise. There will be a golden egg for each age group, and whoever finds it will win a golden prize. Please provide your own basket or bag. Ages: 1 to 10. Cost: free.

Spring Pancake Social, Saturday, April 15, 10 a.m. to noon. Everyone get together for Delridge's first Spring Pancake Social! After the Egg Hunt, join other families from our community and enjoy pancakes, eggs and sausages cooked exclusively by Delridge CC volunteers. We gratefully accept donations!

Spring Egg Hunt, Saturday, April 15, 10 a.m. to noon. This scramble for candy happens rain or shine! Be sure to bring your own bag or basket to hold your goodies. Find the special prize egg (four in each hunt area) to receive something extra. Kids hunt in age-appropriate groups. 10 to 10:30 a.m. for ages 3 and younger; 10:30 to 11 a.m. for ages 4-6; and 11 to 11:30 a.m. for ages 7-9 and 10-12. Meet at the community center gym 15 minutes before your scheduled hunt time to organize for the hunt. Compliments of Garfield Advisory Council and Lakewood School. Cost: Free. NOTE: Garfield needs volunteers for the event, so if you're interested, please call Sonya at the center!

Spring Candy Hunt, Saturday, April 15, 10 a.m. to noon.
This candy scramble happens rain or shine-be sure to bring a bag or basket to hunt with, and dress for the weather! Kids 3 and younger will hunt indoors, all others outdoors. Kids hunt in age-appropriate groups: 10 to 10:30 a.m. for kids 3 and younger; 10:30 to 11 a.m. for kids 4-6; and 11 to 11:30 a.m. for kids 7-9 and 10-12. Meet at the community center gym 15 minutes before your scheduled hunt time to organize for the hunt. And please stop by the community center gym afterwards for donuts and warm beverages, and mingle with friends and neighbors. Sponsored by the Green Lake Advisory Council.

Spring Candy Hunt, Saturday, April 15, 10 a.m. to noon. The Candy Hunt will happen rain or shine! Children ages 12 and younger will be placed in separate age-appropriate groups. Meet at the community center gym no later than 15 minutes before your hunt. The hunt is compliments of the International District/Chinatown Community Center Advisory Council. 10 to 10:30 a.m. for kids 0-3; 10:30 to 11 a.m. for kids 4-6; and 11 to 11:30 a.m. for kids 7-9 and 10-12. "Bunny Hop" Fun Run, One-mile and Two-mile, Saturday, April 8, 10 a.m. Join us for our second annual Bunny Hop one or two-mile Fun Run for kids at Magnuson Park. The start area is near Lake Washington between the swim beach and the boat ramp. Race check-in begins at 9 a.m. There will be prizes for top runners, and all participants will get a finisher ribbon, a chocolate bunny, and a T-shirt. We'll provide refreshments after the race. Please call the center for run registration forms. Ages: 6 to 13. Race Fee: $15.

Spring Break Kids' Carnival, Wednesday, April 12, 12:30 to 3 p.m., Hangar 30. Enjoy games, prizes, activity booths, inflatables, entertainment, Bingo, face painting, refreshments, and more! Ages: all. Cost: $.25 per ticket. Sponsored by Magnuson Community Center and the YMCA.

Meadowbrook will provide your child with a basket to decorate and all the necessities to make it a work of art! Please register by April 5 so that we make sure to have enough supplies. Ages: 12 and younger. Cost: $3.

Spring Candy and Egg Hunt, Saturday, April 15, 10 to 11 a.m. It's time again to fill up your baskets with candy and goodies at our annual Spring Candy and Egg Hunt. We will have separate hunting areas for different age groups. Please bring a basket to gather your goodies and remember, this is an outdoor event, so dress for the weather! After the Egg Hunt, join us for a scrumptious Pancake Breakfast ($5) and let your child have fun and enter the Spring Coloring Contest. Ages: 1 to 12, with a guardian. Cost: free.

Pancake Breakfast, Saturday, April 15, 9 a.m. to noon. Come and enjoy the warm company of friends, family, and neighbors as you enjoy an all-you-can-eat spread. The menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, juice, and coffee. Feast before, or after, your children join the Spring Candy and Egg Hunt. This is no ordinary event-it's Southwest Community Center's biggest fundraiser of the year. All proceeds help support our youth and teen programs. Ages: All. Cost: $5 per adult, $2 per youth (3 - 18), free for kids younger than 3.
