Pattern Burglary Suspect Arrested

Since April of 2005, there have been over 60 burglaries in the North End, Queen Anne and Capitol Hill neighborhoods of Seattle that targeted primarily elderly citizens residing in retirement homes. Detectives with the Seattle Police Department believed the same person was responsible for these crimes.

On September 20, 2005, Seattle Police Officers arrested Robert Lee Turner at 20th and Madison. Turner, a 48-year-old Seattle resident is the primary suspect in these burglaries. Seattle Police Detectives from the West, East and North Precinct Burglary Units as well as Crime Analysis Units worked collaboratively on identifying this suspect. Mr. Turner was booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Burglary late last night.
