‘Ask the Mayor’ with Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels
SEATTLE - Mayor Greg Nickels will take calls from listeners during the program Ask the Mayor on the Seattle Channel this Wednesday, June 9, 2004 from 7 to 8 p.m.
Mayor Nickels will answer viewers’ questions and discuss issues currently in the news in Seattle. Likely topics for Wednesday’s show include the Monorail fire, the Mayor's efforts to avoid privatized housing in Discovery Park, the recent breakthrough agreement for Northgate's Thornton Creek, and more.
Ask the Mayor is a live, monthly show hosted by C.R. Douglas on Seattle's municipal cable channel that offers citizens an opportunity to take their questions and concerns directly to the Mayor. The call-in number is (206) 684-8821. Douglas also will collect e-mail questions for the Mayor through 5 p.m. the day of the show. Send your queries to: askthemayor@seattle.gov
