December 2 Child Care Forum Cancelled
The public forum with state and local officials,
"Child Care and Welfare Reform: Who’s minding the children?" that was
scheduled to take place on Wednesday, December 2, 1998 from 12:00-1:30pm at Seattle City
Council Chambers IS CANCELLED.
The elected officials scheduled to attend, among them
Mayor Paul Schell, Seattle Councilmember Peter Steinbrueck, King County Councilmember
Larry Gossett, State Representative Kip Tokuda, and Seattle School Board President Barbara
Schaad-Lamphere, will be attending funeral services for Seattle School Superintendent John
Stanford.
The forum will be rescheduled for early 1999.
