Seattle Preschool Program Public Hearing announced

Seattle - City Council's Select Committee on Preschool, chaired by Council President Tim Burgess,will host a public hearing at Jefferson Community Center at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 29. The Council is considering a ballot measure to ask Seattle voters whether to approve the creation of a voluntary, high-quality, affordable Seattle preschool program.

Each member of the public will have up to 2 minutes to address the committee, and public comment sign-up sheets will be available at 5 p.m. The committee will meet to further discuss the proposal on Friday, May 30 at 12 p.m.
